This was the most interesting task that I have performed. I created my E_portfolio, by creating a website using google pages. Then I publish it and in a second my portfolio is on the internet and anyone can visit it at the following address: http://sana.abiad.googlepages.com/home2

This was fun.

This week was an interesting one, by checking many ways of evaluating websites. I also had to oppurtunity to evaluate a set of hoax websites. Moreover I read about different cjecklist queries that my students could easily follow to evaluate websites 

This week was a very hard one. I had all the technical problems that you can think about. Internet connection problems, my course links, links freezing, non-displayable pages… However I enjoyed working with my group to establish a survey and a quiz. also making a quiz was a difficult process due to the problems that I had, but I was successful after all.

This week gave me new facilities that could be used in my classroom.

This week we started 3 different discussion boards. Moodle and Quick Topic were easier to access than World Crossing. the inetersting part this week was the introduction of wiki. I enjoyed working on Moodle to start a icebreaker, to reply to other’s icebreakers and to start a wiki.   Sana / Saudi Arabia

Actually I enjoyed reading about the copyrights and learn more about media stuff. I got so much t learn, and even taking the online quiz was fun because I had many questions answered wrongly. The kingdomality acivity was such a good way to actually revealing some aprts of our personalities. Things that you do not believe you actually have till someone blantly inform you about it. The moodle part was easy to edit and update our profile. It was a chance to know my instructor. I am ready and waiting for my third week

Questions about blog

Actually I do not have much questions about blog. I found it really easy to create one and post my ideas.

What are the pitfalls of using blog as a teaching environment?

Usually when I teach , I like to be of direct help to students that have questions or problems understanding a specific task. Sometimes I need to re-explain a certain topic more than once. If I use Blog as a teaching environment then I have to wait for the students feedback rather than getting it directly.

What are tha advantages?

The advantages of using Blog as my teaching environment is that I am sure that all my students are reading the same information and it is documented. I can spread this information to more than my students, it is to anyone who visit my blog.

 Expectation of Privacy

I am not expecting any privacy when writing or communicating on the internet. That is one of the uses of internet to share information with others. However, I like private comments rather than public. I am sure that many hesitate to comment if they know that there comments are going to be published publically.

How I might use blog technology?

I might use this blog technology to post specific ideas , researches or links .

I feel very comfortable in creating my blog, and writing my ideas at this specific location. It is a good way of sharing our ideas and restricting it to specific users. I  did not like the way we added users because till now I am not sure if I added the correct persons to my blog
